Mrs. Teaist was away for the weekend, catching up with an old friend, when she glanced in a window, and happened to see a gaiwan.
One of the criticisms often levelled at White2Tea is that they play their cards a little too close to their chests for some folks in the tea community, who want to know to the half metre where on the globe and at what altitude the leaves in their gaiwan were grown, as well as complete horoscopes and biographies for the farmer, his significant other, their pets, parents and siblings.
The idea behind this experiment began to take shape after I read this article on Oolong Owl’s excellent blog about Tisano chocolate tea.
Flora Tehus popped up on my tea-radar when they started following me on Instagram.

The other week Mrs. Teaist came home with a present for me, a 100 gram packet of Pu-erh that she had picked up on her way home from work.
If you read enough tea blogs and keep up to date with developments on the tea scene via Steepster and the /r/tea subreddit then you could hardly fail to notice that UK based tea vendor What-cha has a growing reputation for excellent teas and superb customer service.
So, here it finally is, the long awaited post about the oft-mentioned, semi-legendary, Moonlight White.
