As I gazed forlornly into the two open tea caddies it dawned on me that I might have miscalculated somewhat.
You know before opening the caddy that this will be the last session with that particular tea. The caddy feels unusually light, and the few lonely leaves left inside make an odd, metallic scraping noise as they slide about.
A post over at Cat’s Tea of the Day got me thinking about lemongrass flavoured green tea.
Every tea event is unique in its own way – the hundreds of variables concerning water, leaves, people and the tea drinking environment could never be replicated.
It’s that time of the year again, when Clan Teaist decamps to our place in the country for our summer holiday.
I know I’d previously said that I was placing a moratorium on the purchase of any new teaware, but that ruling came with the proviso that I would still allow myself to buy anything suitably unusual or interesting, such as this small side handled teapot I found at one of Emmaus‘ second-hand outlets.
