I was pleasantly surprised to find a small parcel containing tea in our mail box today, just less than 1 day after I clicked on a “Proceed to Checkout” button.
After a good result the first time I used them, I’d ordered another batch of tea from “House of Tea“, this time containing a green tea (Bai Sha Lu), as well as a Darjeeling (Castleton Nirvana FF).
This parcel had thankfully been slim enough to slip easily into our mail box at home, rather than taking a detour to the mail-drop at our local hypermarket to await collection, saving me a day’s waiting time.
As with the first time I bought tea from them, they were kind enough to include a small 3g sample, this time it was some Wen Shan Bao Zhong, a Taiwanese Oolong, a perfect amount for my small unglazed clay gaiwan.
Full reviews in good time, but first I’ve got some unpacking, sniffing, and caddying-up to do…!
My mum loves Darjeeling so much. It’s a very popular tea in Germany.

So does my wife – she doesn’t like greens or white tea, so it’s one of the teas we have in common if we want to share a pot or two…
