Well, our Summer trek for this year has entered its final week.
Mrs. Teaist and Teaist Junior fancied some pool-based action, so we headed off to Ronneby and its famous spa hotel, Ronneby Brunn.

Personally, I blame the sea air.
In my experience it makes everything taste at least 20% better, and gives me a raging appetite that would shame a hippo that hadn’t eaten in a fortnight.
“Where are the berries?”, said Mrs. Teaist. “You did, did you not, promise me berries?”.
She was right. I had, and there weren’t any.
The flat tones of the light filtering through the curtains told me as I lay in bed that it was overcast. I sat up, pulled back the curtain, and looked out of the window.

After the midsummer fun and games I was press-ganged in a benign kind of a way into a building project I’d been hoping to dodge.

Well, here we are again.
It’s late June, and tomorrow we’ll head out into the countryside to celebrate midsummer with our extended family.

I suppose that once I’d consciously dedicated a new pot exclusively to Oolongs I was subconsciously going to be biased towards that class of tea the next time tea and cash were going to be exchanged.

“Found something for you on the way home from work”, said Mrs. Teaist. “Wondered if it might come in handy for Thursday”.

Mrs. Teaist was on the way home from work when she spotted this new-to-us instant chai, and decided on a whim to give it a whirl.
