White tea, majesty in a cup…
The green tea, liquid emeralds, a summer meadow,
Flushes, cleanses and waters,
The Pu-erh refreshes and fortifies,
The forest in Autumn, a stable at dusk,
The Oolong warms and soothes,
The hearth in the depth of winter, footfalls in the snow,
But drinking the white is like the consumption of clouds,
The mind-stuff of heaven,
Consciousness of the eternal,
Teased down from the firmament,
Celestial threads of silken joy,
Captured in this cup,
Become part of mine own crude self.
